Billy Idol has announced the release of Dream Into It, his first album since 2014’s Kings & Queens of the Underground.

The new album will arrive via Dark Horse Records on April 25 and features guest appearances from Avril Lavigne, Joan Jett and The Kills and Dead Weather singer Alison Mosshart.

In a surprise move, hardcore veterans HATEBREED have announced that Matt Bachand of SHADOWS FALL will handle bass for the foreseeable future, taking over for long time bassist Chris Beattie.

No official reason for the switch in the line up has been given as of yet.

British rock band THE DARKNESS has released a scorching new single, ‘Walking Through Fire’, the latest song to be taken from the band’s forthcoming album ‘Dreams On Toast’, due out March 28 via Cooking Vinyl. Watch the in-the-studio visualizer below.

Roberta Flack, the magnetic singer and pianist whose intimate blend of soul, jazz and folk made her one of the most popular artists of the 1970s, died on Monday in Manhattan. She was 88.

She died en route to a hospital, according to Suzanne Koga, her manager and friend.

Three-time-Grammy-nominated hard rock heavyweights and platinum-selling band KILLSWITCH ENGAGE – Jesse Leach, vocals; Adam Dutkiewicz, guitar; Joel Stroetzel, guitar; Mike D’Antonio, bass; and Justin Foley, drums – released their new album, “This Consequence”, on February 21 via Metal Blade.
