The Dutch melancho-rockers The Gathering have been confirmed for the ArtMania Festival, set to take place June 15-16 in Sibiu, Romania. Also scheduled to appear are the British bands Anathema and My Dying Bride, and the Germans Haggard. The Transylvanian town of Sibiu was chosen to be one of 2007’s European Capitals of Culture.

Queensryche have revealed the front cover artwork of their upcoming live DVD (left). Entitled “Mindcrime at the Moore”, the disc contains a recoring of the band’s show at The Moore Theatre in the their hometown of Seattle, shot in mid-October 2006.
