Bloc Party have chosen a producer for their upcoming second album.Tentatively titled ‘Urbanite Relaxation’, the follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘Silent Alarm’, will be produced by former Compulsion guitarist now successful producer Jacknife Lee.

Dallas band Fair To Midland have signed to Serjical Strike, the label run by Serj Tankian of System Of A Down. Tankian himself is expected to produce the band’s new album.

Extreme, one of the biggest bands of the late 1980s, are to re-form for a show in their home town, Boston, on June 30. The line-up is Gary Cherone (vocals), Nuno Bettencourt (guitar), Pat Badger (bass) and Paul Geary (drums).
Motorhead, Saliva, P.O.D. and Shadows Fall all have tracks featured on the album ‘WWE: Wreckless Intent’. Released by Columbia in America at the end of May, this is a compilation of intro themes, used by WWE superstars.
