Self-styled conspiracy metal mavericks Ewigkeit are to offering an EP as a free download. Called ‘Return To The Land Of Fog‘, it features three songs from debut album ‘Land Of Fog’ re-worked and re-recorded.

Aerosmith are to work with producer Steve Lillywhite on their new, as yet untitled album. Work should start imminently.

Queensryche are to have the classic ‘Operation: Mindcrime’ album re-issued by EMI on June. This will be available as both a two-CD set (with the original album, plus a live, 1990 recording from the Hammersmith Odeon in London), or in a deluxe set, with the aforementioned CDs and a DVD, with the ‘Video: Mindcrime’ set.

Zao have posted new song ‘Physician Heal Thyself’ online. This comes from the album ‘The Fear Is What Keeps Us Here’, due out next month through Ferret.

Allhelluja, the Danish/Italian project featuring Hatesphere frontman Jacob Bredahl and Stefano Longhi from Scarlet Records, will release their sophomore album, “Pain is the Game”, in September via Scarlet. Songtitles seto to appear on the CD include “Superhero Motherfucker Superman”, “The Devil, Me, Myself & I” and “Hell On Earth”.

Between The Buried And Me are to release a covers album next month on the Victory label. It’s called ‘The Anatomy Of’ and included their take on Metallica‘s ‘Blackened’.

Unsigned Swedish band Cellout have uploaded a new demo song, enitled “Breathe“, at their official web site.Cellout, who supported Clawfinger at their May 15 show in Stockholm, are currently in the studio working on material for a future promotional CD. The band’s four-track promotional disc, “Sublow 3.0“, is available via their web site.

Aiden are to release an EP on October 30 through Victory. It’s to be called ‘Rain In Hell’, and is to be a combination of covers (including Misfits and The Smiths) and new songs. The band will be working on this record during August, with producer Steve Carter.

Former Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour is to film his upcoming London shows at the Royal Albert Hall (May 29/30). This is for a live DVD, expected out later this year.
