Jimi Jamison is back fronting Survivor. Five years after leaving, the vocalist back in the classic AOR band, working with guitarist Frankie Sullivan, guitarist/keyboard player Walter Tolentino, bassist Billy Ozello and drummer Marc Droubay. Survivor will shortly start work on a new album, which is expected to be released next year.

Metallica have been sampled by Rihanna. The pop star has used guitar riffs from Wherever I May Roam on her song Red Lipstick. This is featured on Rihanna’s album Talk That Talk, which is out today, November 21.
