Norwegian thrashers DEAD TROOPER have announced the addition of drummer Marius Strand (BLACK COMEDY) to the group’s ranks. Strand joins the band as the replacement for Are Sorknes, who left the group in January because he “didn’t have enough time for both DEAD TROOPER and his other projects,” according to a statement from the band.

MADBALL bassist Hoya will make his film debut in the upcoming “Rapturious” movie, which was written and directed by Kamal Ahmed (of Jerky Boys fame). More information is available at IMDB.com.
