Euro power metalheads Firewind are to release their new album in July. It’s to be called ‘Allegiance’. A single, ‘Falling To Pieces’, precedes this in June. The latter is to include a cover of Blackfoot’s ‘Teenage Idol’.

According to blabbermouth.net, VРѕcalist Messiah Marcolin has left Candlemass. Apparently, there were musical disagreements between the singer and the rest of the band over the new album. More soon.

Cannibal Corpse are to re-issue their classic album ‘The Bleeding’ through Metal Blade on June 19. This will include one extra audio track, a cover version of Possessed’s ‘The Exorcist’, plus the video clip for ‘Staring Through The Eyes Of The Dead’.
