Pere Ubu are to have their 1978 album ‘The Modern Dance’ re-issued in Dualdisc format by Silverline on July 24. One side of the disc features the original album, re-mastered, while the other side has the album in 5.1 ‘surround sound’ stereo, as well as an interview with Pere Ubu mainman David Thomas.

Breed 77 are to releaes their new single on June 12. It’s called ‘Alive’, and comes from the album ‘In My Blood (En Mi Sangre)’, which is due out on July 3.

Lacuna Coil will be featured guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live next Tuesday (May 9), which will be the band’s first U.S. late night television appearance, as well as their first nationally broadcast performance. Lacuna Coil will be performing a special set on the show’s outdoor stage.

The End Records issued the new Sadus album, Out For Blood, on May 2nd in North America. The album has beРµn available in Europe since February 27th via Holland’s Mascot Records.

Despite the previous announcement from Candlemass singer Messiah Marcolin that he was quitting the Swedish band, it now seems that may not be the case. Candlemass claim that he’s been suffering from what’s described as ‘severe pre-recording psychosis’, and that he will be on their new, as yet untitled record.
