Scottish metalheads Mendeed have signed to Nuclear Blast. The band have also announced they’ll support Slayer on the UK/European ‘Unholy Alliance Tour’ at the end of the year.

Kaiser Chiefs have announced an intimate warm-up show for their forthcoming UK tour.The band are set to play arenas across the UK from April 19, but will kick their tour off at The Garage in Glasgow on April 17.

PJ Harvey will perform at the opening night of the Hay-On-Wye literary festival on May 26, a bash known for attracting renowned authors from around the world. The set, which is Harvey‘s first UK performance since 2004, will see her perform a intimate set playing just guitar and piano.
