Folk rocker Richard Thompson, who made his name with Fairport Convention, has been given an OBE in the New Year’s Honours List.Also honoured is Trevor Horn, who gets a CBE. Horn was a member of Buggles, before briefly fronting Yes. He also produced the latter.
