MotГ¶rhead have completed the recordings for their next album. The CD shall be entitled “MotГ¶rize” and is going to surface by the end of the year via SPV. The follow-up to 2006’s “Kiss of Death” was recorded at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Northridge, California.

A version of the “Guitar Hero” computer game based entirely on songs by Metallica will be released in early 2009. This shall be the second time for a band to be honoured with a special version of the popular game, after Aereosmith had one devoted to them.

Our colleagues from The Other Side announced that Yngwie Malmsteen is going to play live in Sofia, Bulgaria on September 30, 2008. The venue is said to be the National Palace of Culture. However, there’s no confirmation/denial of the show at the guitar virtuoso’s website… so we’ll have to wait…
