Dutch extreme prog/math metal masters Textures have entered Split Second Sound Studio to begin recording their new album for an early 2008 release. The production duties are being handled by guitarist Jochem Jacobs, who also oversaw the recording process for the group’s latest CD, “Drawing Circles” (2006).

The news was spread that current Velvet Revolver and former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash will make a guest appearance on the new album by Italian pop-rock superstar Vasco Rossi (on the photo). Buzzcocks have posted one of the 28 songs off their new live album “Buzzcocks 30” (view cover in the left) at their MySpace page. The word goes about the track “Moving Away from the Pulsebeat”. “Buzzcocks 30” was recorded at the London Forum and was released in the very end of November via Cooking Vinyl.
