Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have been chosen to host 2008’s Brit Awards. The ceremony is set to be held at Earl’s Court in London on February 20, and will be broadcast live on television. The nominations are due to be announced at London’s Roundhouse on January 14.

Queen & Paul Rodgers have recorded their first studio collaboration – a song called “Say It’s Not True”, to commemorate World AIDS Day tomorrow, December 1. The track, written by drummer Roger Taylor, is already available as a free download from queenonline.com.

“Bleed Well”, the new video off H.I.M.‘s current album “Venus Doom”, has been posted online. You may check it out below. The live footage for the clip was filmed during the Finns’ Los Angeles shows on November 14 and 15, which will also be used for H.I.M.’s upcoming live DVD, due in 2008.

German thrash metal veterans Holy Moses have decided to entitle their next full-length studio album “Bloodbound”. It should be out next spring. Meanwhile, in January, Sabina Classen and her lads will tour Europe together with Obituary and Avatar.

German power metallers Rage shall release their new studio album, “Carved in Stone”, on February 22, 2008 via Nuclear Blast. The effort is the first one recorded with new drummer AndrГ© Hilgers (Axxis, Silent Force), after the departure of Mike Terrana exactly a year ago.

36 Crazy Fists have decided to title their upcoming studio album “The Tide and Its Takers”. Due out in March 2008, the CD is being produced by guitarist Steve Holt and mixed by Andy Sneap.
