Although not officially announced by either The Cult or Roadrunner Records, The Gauntlet informs that Ian Astbury’s newly reformed band has parted ways with the label this week, after releasing only one album – last year’s “Born into This”.
While Nevermore are working on material for the follow-up to 2005’s “This Godless Endeavor”, tentatively due in early 2009 via Century Media, guitarist Jeff Loomis is putting the finishing touches to his solo album. The effort has been just mixed by Grammy award-winning producer Neil Kernon, and is going to be all-instrumental.
