Buzz Osborne and his gang are hitting back in the late spring of 2008. That’s when The Melvins‘ new full-length studio album is goin to surface. The follow-up to last year’s “(A) Senile Animal” is still untitled, but it’s been confirmed it’s gonna appear via Mike Patton’s Ipecac Recordings.

Earth – the Seattle-based drone experimentalists lead by Kurt Cobain’s best friend Dylan Carlson – have announced the name of their next full-length album. It’s going to be entitled “The Bees Made Honey in the Lion’s Skull”, and is due in February via Southern Lord records.

The word goes about the tracks “Jigsaw Falling into Place” and “Bodysnatchers”, which may be watched below. As for “In Rainbows”, it shall get its physical release on CD on January 1, 2008. Bulgaria’s melodic rock quintet Shangri La, formerly known as Sad Toy Killer, shall play at the upcoming edition of the Р•uroSonic Festival in Groningen, The Netherlands.
