TheВ third Playstation 2 rock game, “Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80’s”, will be on sale during the summer. What’s more interesting is that its soundtrack is going to include tracks by guitar-driven rock legends like Twisted Sister, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Dio, Asia, Accept, Poison, Skid Row, Faster Pussycat, Extreme, Scandal, Billy Squier and Eddie Money.

Team Sleep, the trip-rock project featuring Deftones’ Chino Moreno alongside Todd Wilkinson, Zach Hill of Hella, Rick Verrett of Tinfed and DJ Crook, is putting the finnishing touches to its second fulll-length album. The follow-up to the band’s 2005’s self-titled debut shall appear during the summer.

Former Styx vocalist Dennis DeYoung has revealed the front cover artwork (view it in the left) for his upcoming full-length solo album. Entitled “One Hundred Years from Now”, the CD is going to contain 11 tracks melodic rock tracks and is due to surface in the near future.
