Lacuna Coil will be featured guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live next Tuesday (May 9), which will be the band’s first U.S. late night television appearance, as well as their first nationally broadcast performance. Lacuna Coil will be performing a special set on the show’s outdoor stage.

Primus bassist/vocalist Les Claypool has put the finishing touches on a new solo album, “Of Whales and Woe,” due May 30 via his own Prawn Song label. The follow-up to 2002’s “Purple Onion” was recorded in Claypool‘s home studio and features contributions from percussionist Mike Dillon, saxophonist Skerik and Gabby La La on sitar.
