Dark Tranquillity have been added to the bill for this year’s Ragnarock UK Festival, which happens at the Perth Concert Hall in Central Scotland on November 4. They join the following names on the bill: Gamma Ray, Dream Evil, Kalmah, Astral Doors, Charon, Elvenking, Circus Maximus, Intense and Headless Cross.

Graham Coxon has been added to the bill of Newquay’s Ripcurl Unleashed Music Festival.The pop legend joins bands including Feeder, Starsailor and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly at the festival, which ends a week of outdoor sporting events.The music part of the festival will take place on the 4th and 5th of August.

Grateful Dead keyboard player Vince Welnick has died. He was 55. Welnick took over as the cult band’s keyboard player in 1990 and continued until the band retired from performing following the death of founder and frontman Jerry Garcia in 1995.
