Steve Harris’ daughter Lauren Harris confirmed that her band shall support Iron Maiden in June in Europe, including the British heavy metal gods’ show at the Locomotive Stadium in Sofia, Bulgaria on June 4. Lauren Harris Band’s complete summer tour schedule can be seen here.

According to a posting on Yngwie Malmsteen‘s official website, the legendary Swedish guitarist is “working hard on a new rock album”. The CD, which is once again expected to feature vocalist Doogie White (ex-Rainbow), is tentatively due later this year.

Evanescence guitarist John LeCompt (on the photo) revealed yesterday he’s been fired from the band by singer Amy Lee. Besides, the musician admitted that drummer Rocky Gray has also quit. No official statement has been issued by the band so far. Both John and Rocky plan to focus on their new project, Machina.
