Finnish folk metallers Korpiklaani (formerly known as Shaman) have pushed back the release date of their fourth album, “Tervaskanto”, to June 29. The CD (view cover in the left) shall contain 11 songs and shall emerge via Napalm Records. The fourth track off “Tervaskanto”, “Veriset Aparat”, can already be heard on Korpiklaani’s official MySpace profile.

Long-running American rockers Poison are to release an album with cover versions called “Poison’d” in June. It will include songs by The Rolling Stones, The Sweet, David Bowie, The Cars and Marshall Tucker Band. There’s still no information about the exact tracks chosen by Bret Michaels & Co.

Gary Moore shall release his new album on May 28 through Eagle. It’s entitled “Close As You Get” and features 11 tracks. The legendary Irish guitar player who celebrates his 55th birthday today (Congratulations!) shall visit Sofia, Bulgaria, three weeks before the CD appears. More details on his show shall be announced very soon…
