Polish death metal veterans Vader shall play a concert in Sofia, Bulgaria, on May 19. The venue and the local supporting acts are still to be announced. Tickets for the show shall cost 10 Euro (presale) and 11 Euro (at the door). The event is promoted by Most of Evil Music.

German hard rock veterans Scorpions have finished recording their new album in Los Angeles with producer Desmond Child. The CD, entitled “Humanity – Hour 1” (see front cover in the left), is being mixed at this moment and should be released in the second half of May. No further details are available yet.

Botswana’s Wrust – the only known all-black death metal band in Africa – will release their debut album, “Soulless Machine”, in April via Witchdoctor Records. The CD was recorded in 4 days at Bizac Studio in Midrand, South Africa. You can hear some of Wrust’s music on their official homepage – www.wrustband.com.
