SILVERCHAIR‘s official fan club, The Llama Appreciation Society, recently reported in their quarterly newsletter that the band is currently in Los Angeles recording their as-yet-unnamed fifth album. The band are recording 14 songs but, as always, some of them may not make the album.

SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser joined DIO for a rendition of the BLACK SABBATH classic “Mob Rules” during the legendary heavy metal frontman’s headlining appearance at the Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Saturday, July 15.DIO‘s follow-up to 2004’s “Master of the Moon” is expected in early 2007.

DEICIDE‘s video for the new track “Homage for Satan” has been made available for download at this location (Quicktime, 36 MB). The band spent 12 hours locked up in baking Floridian conditions in early July while they filmed the clip. Directorial duties on “Homage for Satan” were handled by Detroit-based crew Scrambled Visual.

JAGUAR have announced the addition of bass player Simon Patel to the group’s ranks. Simon made his live debut with the band at the recent Thrash Till Death Festival in Germany.JAGUAR are currently writing material for a new studio album, which they plan on recording later in the year.
