New York death metal icons Suffocation have had to cancel their plans for a European tour next month, due to business problems. They hope to re-schedule the dates for August.

Rob Zombie has brought in former Amen/Wednesday 13 bassist Piggy D to replace Rob вЂBlasko’ Nicholson, who recently joined Ozzy’s band.

A Static Lullaby have just signed a deal with Fearless Records. The band intend to start work shortly on a new, as yet untitled album, with producer Steve Evetts. Expect a release in late September.

Influential US hardcore band Gorilla Biscuits are getting back together this Summer, to play 27 shows in America. This coincides with the re-release of their 1989 album ‘Start Today’.

Hollywood star Danny Devito, supermodel Rachel Hunter and Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 all appear in the just filmed video for the song ‘Mojo’, from Peeping Tom. The band are, of course, one of Mike Patton‘s many projects.

Good Riddance are to release new album ‘My Republic’ next month on the Fat Wreck label. It’s their seventh record, and was produced by Bill Stevenson.

Napalm Death have just started recording their new album, which is tentatively called ‘Smear Campaign’. It’s expected to be released at the end of the year by Century Media.
