New York death metal icons Suffocation have had to cancel their plans for a European tour next month, due to business problems. They hope to re-schedule the dates for August.

Rob Zombie has brought in former Amen/Wednesday 13 bassist Piggy D to replace Rob ‘Blasko’ Nicholson, who recently joined Ozzy’s band.

Influential US hardcore band Gorilla Biscuits are getting back together this Summer, to play 27 shows in America. This coincides with the re-release of their 1989 album ‘Start Today’.

Napalm Death have just started recording their new album, which is tentatively called ‘Smear Campaign’. It’s expected to be released at the end of the year by Century Media.
