Fall-Out Boy are to start recording a new album in June. Neal Avron will do the bulk of the production work, although Babyface will also be involved. And the band hope to persuade members of Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance to guest on the as yet untitled record.

Slayer will now release their new, as yet untitled album in July. Produced by Josh Abraham, they hope to precede this with a digital release on June 6. Among the 11 tracks on the album are ‘Eyes Of The Insane’, ‘Cult’, ‘Catalyst’, ‘Jihad’ and ‘Catatonic’.
