Chrome Division, who include Dimmu Borgir frontman Shagrath on guitar, release their debut album in August. It’s called ‘Doomsday Rock ‘N’ Roll’ and is on the Nuclear Blast label.

Veteran British metalheads Xentrix and Onslaught are to headline a bill being dubbed ‘A Night Of British Thrash’, This happens at Bradford Rio’s on June 3, with the rest of the line-up being young bands Evile, Pitiful Reign and Headless Cross.

Atheist guitarist/vocalist Kelly Shaefer will be performing the Atheist classic ‘Piece Of Time’ with Australian metalers Alarum on Wednesday, May 24th in St. Petersburg, Florida at the State Theatre. This will be the very first time Kelly has performed this song live since 1993.

‘The Smoke’, the second single from the Eclipse album by progressive metallers Amorphis, is scheduled for release in Finland on June 7th. Included on the CD is the video clip for ‘House Of Sleep’.
