Yesterday it was reported that Deftones bassist Chi Cheng is in a coma after being involved in a car accident this Mondey. Luckily, a few hours later frontman Chino Moreno announced that Chi “is currently in a Northern California hospital in serious, but stable condition”. We wish him full recovery…

Tampa’s death metal veterans Cannibal Corpse have set “Evisceration Plague” as the title of their new album. Due on February 3 via Metal Blade Records, the follow-up to “Kill” (2006) shall contain 12 tracks produced by Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, Morbid Angel) at his Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida.
