Bulgaria’s metal veterans Ahat are about to release a live album next week. Entitled “Golden Rock Tour”, the CD is going to feature 12 tracks recorded during the band’s 2004 tour. To celebrate the release, Ahat shall embark on a national tour. Details about it can be found in our GIG GUIDE.

US alternative rock vets Violent Femmes bass player Brian Ritchie filed suit against frontman Gordon Gano last week, disputing songwriting credits and royalty payments. Ritchie’s suit also alleges misuse of jointly held songs, particularly “Blister in the Sun”, for a Wendy’s ad earlier this summer.
