New York hardcore beasts Madball are finishing up the recordings for their upcoming album at Planet Z Studios in Massachusetts with producer Zeuss (worked with a.o. Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, Throwdown). Entitled “Infiltrate the System”, the CD is scheduled to surface sometime during the autumn via Ferret Music.

German heavy metal veterans Helloween entered singer Andi Deris’ Mi Sueno Studios in Tenerife, Spain today, May 11, to begin recoding their next full-length album. The CD, due to be produced by Charlie Bauerfeind (Blind Guardian, Saxon), is scheduled to appear on Halloween, October 31, followed by a European tour starting in mid-November.

Two people have been arrested after the theft of the artwork slated for use on the cover of the new Smashing Pumpkins album, “Zeitgeist”, due to be released on July 7.
