Arkansas metalcore crew The Handshake Murders have signed to Goodfellow Records. The five-piece will release their first album for the label in January.

System Of A Down have announced that they’re to take a lengthy break, following their headlining stint on this year’s US Ozzfest tour. The band are not splitting up, but it may be a few years before we see them again.
Soil have now confirmed three club shows in the UK,in addition to their appearance at the Download Festival. These happen at London Camden Underworld June 7 (with Clutch and Blindside), Southend Chinnery’s 8, Edinburgh Studio 24 11.
Firebird are to play 5 shows in the UK in the perdiod 7-28 May. Harry Armstrong, from End Of Level Boss, will be joining the band for this tour, on guitar.
