AEROSMITH’s JOE PERRY was hospitalized shortly after collapsing during a concert with HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES

 
The legenadry guitairst wasn’t feeling well before he went onstage at Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk, according to a post from singer Alice Cooper.

Perry plays in HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES alongside Cooper and Johnny Depp, along with touring members Tommy Heriksen, Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) and Matt Sorum (ex-Guns N’ Roses) . Multiple media outlets have since reported the 65 year-old hard rock icon was in stable condition as of late Sunday night. 

 
During a cover of the David Bowie classic ‘Rebel, Rebel,’ Perry appeared to stumble, sit down and then collapse. 
 
According to Page Six, Perry suffered a cardiac arrest at approximately 9:30 p.m. and was taken to Coney Island Hospital, where he was soon listed in stable condition.

Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, who received the inaugural Guitar Legend award from Perry at the 2014 Alternative Press Music Awards, was among the musicians sending well wishes to Perry on Twitter.
