In an interview with an American radio, the chief organizer of the Ozzfest, Sharon Osbourne, hinted that Alice in Chains might take part in next year’s edition of the festival.
She confirmed that Ozzy himself will play on the second stage and mentioned great festivities being prepared for the 40-th anniversary of Black Sabbath in 2008.В В

Reunited after the death of their cult vocalist Layne Stayley in 2002, this summer Alice in Chains went on a brief tour in Japan and the US and played at some European festivals. Last year Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez and Sean Kinney got together for a benefit concert. This year, as guest musicians and vocalists with Alice in Chains travelled Duff MacKagan of Velvet Revolver, James Hetfield and Phil Anselmo.
