Warner Music Group’s subsidiary Atlantic Records sues two members of Stone Temple Pilots for trying to end their recording contract early. The suit claims that singer Scott Weiland and drummer Eric Kretz have threatened to stop performing under their contract and have indicated they would like to end the agreement unless Atlantic makes significant changes.
The record company wants the group to record a new album and deliver up to two more albums if the label decides they want them.
