BEHEMOTH Issue “The Apostasy” in July

Polish death metal masters Behemoth shall release their new studio album, entitled “The Apostasy” (view cover in the left), on July 16 in Europe via Century Media Records.

The CD, produced by sound engineer Malta and mainman Nergal, was recorded in the band’s hometown of Gdansk. Mixing duties were handled by Daniel Bergstrand (a.o. In Flames, Meshuggah, Strapping Young Lad) at Dug-Out Studios in Sweden, while the mastering should be credited to Bjorn Engelmann, known for his work with Rammstein and Samael.

Before the album’s release, on May 30, Behemoth shall play their first ever show in Sofia, Bulgaria (check out the Gig Guide for details and poster). Afterwards the band shall head to the USA to take part in this year’s Ozzfest tour.
