BILE Changes Name To SKULLHOG

Dutch grindcore/sludge metal band BILE has officially changed its name to SKULLHOG.

Formed in 1998 to pay homage to HELLHAMMER, SLAUGHTER and DEAD INFECTION, among others, the group’s focus, lyrically and visually, is on slasher films, with their debut EP, “The Shed” (2000), based on “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2“, and their full-length album, “Camp Blood” (2005), inspired by the “Friday the 13th” film series.

SKULLHOG is currently working on a couple of different projects, including split releases with ELECTRIC WIZARD and BLOOD DUSTER. More information will be made available soon.
