While working on the full-length follow-up to their debut “Cruel Melody” (2007), former Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland and his current band Black Light Burns decided to put out a CD of cover versions. So far half a dozen of songs have been recorded, a.o. PJ Harvey‘s “Rid of Me”, INXS‘ “Devil Inside”, Swans‘ “I Am the Sun”, Lard’s “Forkboy”, Jesus Lizard‘s “The Art of Self Defense”, Love and Rockets‘ “So Alive”, Fiona Apple‘s “On the Bound” and Bigdumbface‘s “Bleed Red Head on Fire”.
