The original cover artwork for Metallica’s 1986 album “Master of Puppets”, painted by artist Don Brautigam, will be auctioned at Christie’s auction house in New York City on November 24. The framed, 17×17-inch piece is signed on the lower right of the painting DB, and the estimated sale price is set between $20,000 and $30,000.
The auction is part of a sale which includes memorabilia from such artists as The Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Black Flag, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix.
