The supergroup CAMP FREDDY will play a charity show in Los Angeles next month.
The all-star band, consisting of Dave Navarro of The Panic Channel, the former bassist of The Cult – Billy Morrison and two members of Velvet Revolver – drummer Matt Sorum and singer Scott Weiland will take part in the concert, organized by a local radio station in support of the MusiCares initiative, providing help to musicians in need.
Meanwhile, Navarro and company continue with the work on CAMP FREDDY’s debut album, which has been on and off for years. According to Blabbermouth.net, in it will take part as guest musicians Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, Billy Duffy of The Cult, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols and Macy Gray.
