The line-up for this year’s eagerly anticipated Carling Weekend has now been confirmed. As is now tradition the festival has an eclectic mix offering something for everyone from indie kids to emo fans and even the welcome return of a legendary act from Generation X. Also in keeping with tradition some of the most interesting acts will be away from the main stage itself.
Notable highlights include Pearl Jam marking a return to the UK after a 6 year absence for their only UK festival performances; local boys Kaiser Chiefs and The Cribs; Carl Barat’s promising outfit Dirty Pretty Things, Jack White and Brendan Benson’s project The Racontuers and The Kooks building on widely acclaimed debut album.
