CATARACT Announces New Bassist

Swiss metalcore band CATARACT has announced the addition of bassist Kay Brem to the group’s ranks. “He is a very talented bass player with experience of more than a decade,” the group writes in a statement. “He played in several bands (TRIBES OF CAIN, etc.) and to top it off, Kay is a very cool person. It is like he would have been part of CATARACT forever.”

CATARACT‘s fourth album, “Kingdom“, was released in May via Metal Blade Records. The album was recorded at Antfarm Studios with producer Tue Madsen (HEAVEN SHALL BURN, CALIBAN, HIMSA, END OF DAYS, BORN FROM PAIN, KNUCKLEDUST).

CATARACT will team up with GOD FORBID, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, MAROON, FULL BLOWN CHAOS, PURIFIED IN BLOOD and A PERFECT MURDER for the Hell On Earth Tour 2006 beginning in September.
