DEF LEPPARD’s ‘Hysteria’ To Receive ‘Deluxe Edition’ Reissue Treatment

DEF LEPPARD will be releasing a “deluxe edition” of their classic album “Hysteria” (1987) before the end of the year. No further details are currently available.

Hysteria” was recorded in 1986 at Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, Netherlands; Windmill Lane Studio 2 in Dublin, Ireland; and Studio Des Dames in Paris, France with producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange. The LP is one of only a handful of albums (and the third in rock history) that has charted seven singles or more on the U.S. Hot 100: “Women” (#80), “Animal” (#19), “Hysteria” (#10), “Pour Some Sugar On Me” (#2), “Love Bites” (#1), “Armageddon It” (#3) and “Rocket” (#12).

It remained on the charts for three years and has sold 18 million copies worldwide, according to Wikipedia.
