TRUE SYMPHONIC ROCKESTRA, the international opera-oriented project featuring contributions from DREAM THEATER frontman James LaBrie, has posted audio samples of the tracks “Nessun Dorma“, “La Donna e Mobile“, “My Way” and “Tu Ca Nun Chiange” on its official MySpace page.
When the TRUE SYMPHONIC ROCKESTRA concept was started back in 2000, the basic idea behind it was to get three world-class singers to perform the “best of” repertoire of the original 3 TENORS (Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, JosГ© Carreras) … in ROCK versions!
The forthcoming TSR release (due in early 2007) now features LaBrie and the two world-famous classical tenors Thomas Dewald and Vladimir Grishko as “THE 3 ROCK TENORS.”
