The last song ever written Johnny Cash will be included on the album вЂAmerican V: A Hundred Highways’, to be released in July.
In the months before his death on 12 September 2003, Cash teamed up with producer Rick Rubin to record new material.
Cash reinterprets works as diverse as Hank Williams’ вЂOn The Evening Train’, Rod McKuen’s вЂLove’s Been Good To Me’, and Bruce Springsteen’s вЂFurther On (Up The Road)’ on вЂAmerican V’. Two original songs also appear, including вЂLike The 309’ and вЂI Came To Believe’.
