FIREBIRD Prepare Grand Union

Britain’s blues rock saviours Firebird have set “Grand Union” as the title of their fifth album, tentatively due before the end of the year via an as-yet-undisclosed label. The follow-up to “Hot Wings” (2006) was recorded in a line-up featuring band leader Bill Steer (vocals, guitar; ex-Carcass, Napalm Death), drummer Ludwig Witt (Spiritual Beggars), and Smok Smoczkiewicz (bass).
