Former STRATOVARIUS Bassist’s MESS Project Completes Debut EP

MESS, the Finnish heavy metal band featuring bassist Jari Kainulainen (ex-STRATOVARIUS), drummer Atte Sarkima (AJATTARA, VERENPISARA), vocalist Tommi “Tuple” Salmela (TAROT, CARDIANT) and guitarist Elias Viljainen (E.VIL), has completed work on its first EP. MESS was originally formed in 2001 but went on hiatus the following year after Jari and Atte were unable to find the right singer for the project.
