Franz set a release date for new single

Franz Ferdinand have revealed further details of their forthcoming single ‘Eleanor Put Your Boots On’.
Рўhe Glaswegian four-piece have recorded a new version of the track at a studio in Benton Harbour, Michigan.
It was orginally thought that their fourth and final single lifted from ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’, would be released around the same time as their headlining performance at the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals (August 25-27).
But the band have now confirmed the three track CD, which also features new b-sides ‘Wine In The Afternoon’ and the Nick McCarthy penned ‘Ghost In The Ditch’, will be out on July 10.
