KOKO STOYNOV leaves Nova TV to concentrate on rock radio mayhem!

Well, they say you can get the man out of rock’n’roll, but you can’t get….etc etc.

True to his heart, our shining morning tv show host has politely thanked his telly buddies for all the wonderful moments and glorious memories and is now coming back to his one true home – Tangra Mega Rock radio, just in time to kick off a series of daily shows, dedicated to the World Cup in South Africa.

We’re not sure this is a homecoming really, as Nicola never actually left in the first place,” say all his mates from the Tangra crew.

During the last few months we’ve been keeping an eye out for his television exploits and were happy to see his mug on the screen, as there are too many smug halfwits and cretins on TV these days, so it made for a nice and refreshing change,’ adds TMR’s top boy Vassil Varbanov.

He was a breath of fresh air on telly, but we knew that such a free-thinking, open-minded individual wouldn’t last too long in that particular environment. Getting up at some ungodly hour and the fact that the lady in the lingerie store got to know him by name were the least of his problems!

“We even got some bets going here at the station, on how long he’d last before packing it all in. I lost because I said he wouldn’t make it past the first couple of months, but he turned out to be a tough fucker and lasted much longer than that.”

СТОЙНОВ - КИСЕР
Stoynov ditches cheap fame in favour of true rock’n’roll!

This Friday, 11th June, Koko Stoynov begins his special Jitball Radio Bafana daily show, Monday to Friday, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. This will be dedicated entirely to the World Cup.

Of course Koko’s now legendary Jitball show (Fridays, 12 – 2 p.m. with repeats twice weekly) will carry on as usual, which means Koko and his nutcase friends will be on air this Friday at noon and then the man will be back at 3:30 to wax lyrical about the World Cup!
