Korn frontman Jonathan Davis will embark on a 24-date U.S. solo tour, starting November 9 in Hartford and wrapping December 11 in Las Vegas. For the trek the singer perform a variety of songs from Korn’s catalog, along with covers and material from 2002’s “Queen of the Damned” soundtrack.
“It’s going to be acoustic, but still heavy and very intimate,” Davis said in a statement.
Jonathan’s backing band will comprise Lilo Fadidas (guitar, bouzouki, oud), Shane Gibson (guitar), Miles Mosley (upright bass), and Korn’s keyboarder Zac Baird and pig-masked session drummer Michael Jochum. The band was compiled by Richard Gibbs, who was the music director for Korn’s “MTV Unplugged” and Davis’ scoring partner on “Queen of the Damned”.
