Marilyn Manson’s foray into the beverage world with his own brand of absinthe, “Mansinthe”, has been panned by critics, who compared the drink’s odour to “sewage water, swamp mud and rubbing alcohol”. One taster even said about the drink, which is produced in Switzerland as it is illegal in the USA, “If a smell could speak, this absinthe is saying: “Do not touch!””
