Mark Lanegan has announced a comprehensive solo tour of Europe, including eight shows in the UK to take place this April and May.
The former Screaming Trees singer has not played a full solo tour since 2004, after the release of ‘Bubblegum’, instead performing collaboratively with Queens of the Stone Age, former Afghan Whig Greg Dulli as the Gutter Twins, and also working and performing with Belle and Sebastian’s Isobel Campbell on her solo work.
Lanegan’s most recent album release was ‘Broken’, his 2009 collaboration with electro production group Soulsavers. The album — which he toured with Rich Machin in Europe last November — also featured artists such as Faith No More’s Mike Patton, Richard Hawley and Butthole Surfers’ Gibby Haynes.
