MASSIVE ATTACK’s Guest Vocalist List Grows

We’re obviously not going to await the fifth full-length Massive Attack album this year, but this doesn’t mean the Bristol trip hop godfathers don’t work hard on it.

Yesterday it got clear that one of the guests on the follow-up to 2003’s “100th Window” is the young singer and songwriter Stephanie Dosen. She joins indie rockers TV on the Radio’s vocalist Tunde Adebimpe, former psychedelic rockers Mazzy Star frontlady Hope Sandoval, Dot Allison (ex-One Dove), Jamaican reggae singer Horace Andy, Mike Patton (any words needed?), Blur’s Damon Albarn and rapper Mos Def, all of them rumoured to appear on the record.

The album’s working title is “Weather Underground”, but it’s most likely to change, according to Massive Attack’s mastermind Robert Del Naja.
